FERS/CSRS contribution update

During the retirement seminar RAA David Kennedy assured us that Postmaster Stieners current stance on not making payments into the FERS and CSRS pension plans is very similar to the prefunding issue we had with health care. The plan according to a chart he showed has the USPS well and billions of dollars over what is projected to be needed. The NALC national is monitoring the situation and will provide updates when needed.
